~or~

Follow I-95 to Augusta. Take the second Augusta exit marked 112B Belgrade Lakes. Follow 27 through Farmington and all of the way to Eustis. This is slightly longer mileage wise but usually has less traffic.

Boating and Fishing on Tim Pond!

From the Sunoco Station in Eustis (Pines Market):
Travel another 3 miles north and you will come across a bridge with silver guard rails. Just as you cross the bridge take the next left. Our sign will be at the entrance of the dirt road. Travel on dirt road 7 miles (do not take any turns until you go seven miles) ...so watch your odometer....after the 7 mile mark; take another left. Travel one mile up the hill and follow the signs to the camp. (There should be a sign saying "Tim Pond" at the 7 mile mark. Another sign at the top of the hill and then its only a mile in from the top of the hill)

Principal fishery: Brook trout
Tim Pond is located north of East Kennebago Mountain. Two small inlets enter the west side of the pond and its outlet, Tim Brook, exits the north side flowing east in the North Branch of the Dead River. The pondís shoreline is mostly undeveloped.
Water quality in Tim Pond is good for coldwater gamefish. The pondís tributaries have ample spawning and nursery habitat available for the native brook trout population to provide a fishery. Trout growth is good despite heavy interspecific competition. The pond is not stocked.
Tim Pond is accessible via private gated roads off the Tim Pond Road. The pond is open to fly fishing only in the summer and closed to fishing during the winter.
